Frequently Asked Questions
You don’t need to be in crisis to begin therapy.
Perhaps you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or caught in patterns that keep repeating themselves. Or maybe there’s simply a sense that something isn’t quite right.
Therapy with me can then offer a space to slow down, make sense of your experiences, and understand yourself more deeply.
Together, we can explore the patterns, relationships, and stories that shape your life, creating room for greater awareness, choice, and change.
I work from a relational and psychodynamic perspective, which means I’m interested not only in what brings you to therapy, but also in understanding the deeper patterns, emotions, and relationships that shape your experience.
Therapy with me is a collaborative process. We move at a pace that feels right for you, and you don’t need to arrive with everything figured out.
Alongside psychodynamic work, I draw from trauma-informed and narrative-based approaches where they feel helpful. My hope is to create a space that feels warm, thoughtful, and non-judgmental amd one where you can reflect, make sense of your experiences, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.
You may already have people in your life who care deeply about you. Therapy isn't a replacement for those relationships but rather it offers a different kind of space.
Here, you don't have to worry about being a burden, saying the right thing, or taking care of someone else's feelings. The focus is on understanding your experience, at your pace.
My role is to listen with curiosity, help make sense of patterns that may be difficult to see on your own, and stay alongside you as we explore what feels important. Together, we can create space for reflection, understanding, and meaningful change.
It's important to me that you feel able to bring your experience of therapy into the room too.
If something feels uncomfortable, confusing, or not quite right, you're welcome to tell me. We can be curious about it together. Rather than seeing these moments as problems, I often see them as opportunities to better understand what you need and how we can work together more effectively.
Therapy doesn't have to be perfect to be meaningful. What matters is having space to talk openly and build trust over time.
Individual sessions are typically 50 minutes, and couple sessions are 60 minutes. We usually meet once a week, allowing time for both the work we do in session and the reflections that continue between sessions.
I also understand that life doesn't always fit neatly into a schedule. My aim is to find a rhythm that feels supportive, manageable, and sustainable for you.
You can schedule a session through clicking on get in touch button or through book a session page. After filling the intake form, you will receive details about availability and the next steps.
